Travel planning in India

For the trip that has to include a wedding in Delhi, four days somewhere the children will remember, and your mother's knees.

We introduce you to professionals we have checked. Nobody pays to be listed, and our articles never recommend one by name.

What we actually do

You tell us who is travelling, roughly when, and what has to happen. We come back with a route that works, and introduce you to an operator in India who will run it. They quote you directly and you pay them directly — we are not in the middle of the money.

What this is good for

  • A first trip with a spouse or children who have never been, where the itinerary has to survive jet lag and heat
  • Trips built around a fixed event — a wedding, a shraddha, a temple visit on a particular day
  • Travel with elderly parents, where the constraint is stairs, distances and doctors rather than sightseeing
  • Festival travel, which needs booking further ahead than people expect

What it is not

We do not run tours ourselves and we do not sell packages. If what you want is a fixed departure with thirty strangers, a large operator will do it better and cheaper.

What it costs

The operator quotes the trip. We are paid a referral fee by them, which is disclosed here rather than hidden: it does not change your price, and it is the same fee regardless of which operator we introduce, so it cannot bias who you are sent to.
