NRI life — India from abroad
The part of the site where being wrong costs the reader money, so it is written and checked to a different standard.
7 pages
Everywhere else on this site, an error costs credibility. Here it can cost the reader money, so this section works differently.
Pages explain how a rule works — the categories, the thresholds, the process, the words on the form. They never tell you what you personally should do. Where a decision genuinely needs a professional, the page says so and points at the kind of professional, not at a favoured name.
Money and property pages are reviewed by a named practitioner before they go up, carry the financial year they describe, and are re-checked annually. Where that reviewer has not been found yet, the page is not published — an unchecked tax page is worse than no tax page.

Questions people ask
Is anything here financial or legal advice?
No. These pages explain how rules work. They never tell an individual what to do, because that is the line between publishing and giving unlicensed advice — and because the right answer depends on facts about you that a web page cannot know.
Why do some pages carry a review date?
Because India's budget moves the rules every February. A page about money or property states the financial year it reflects, and comes down rather than sitting there wrong once it is past its review date.
India,
once a week.
